It was accurate for me. I took the test on August 20. When I arrived home (30 minutes later) I got the "good pop-up" on PearsonVue website. 48 hours later, it was confirmed...I passed. :) Go ahead and reward yourself - CELEBRATE!!!
i would definitely agree with the other posts...shoes! last semester i bought a pair of shoes for clinicals because they were cheaper than my first choice. after working a 12-hour shift in them, i quickly discovered that i should have spent the money...

"Someday that these jackasses, themselves, will be carelessly run through a cold shower like a car through a carwash by a stupid nurse or aide. Then they'll get it." :hhmth: I certainly hope so!

MsAshley, This is how I studied for the HESI A2 exam (please refer to my other post): https://allnurses.com/pre-nursing-student/hesi-a2-exam-422828.html#post3929617. This worked really well for me (though it was a bit of overkill). Additionally, don'...
I sort of looked at the rental thing but never to seriously. What would be the benefit of renting a textbook when you are in a nursing program? I thought that most people hang on to their nursing textbooks until after graduation. The only benefit ...
I thought Rio's online nursing program was being placed on moratorium effective June 2010? See link: http://www.riosalado.edu/programs/nursing/Pages/default.aspx How will this affect those of you still on the waitlist?

I am right there with you on that one! To "claim it" is the best way to stay positive and focused which helps to propel you in the desired circumstance that you have envisioned for yourself! So keep on claiming it!
Yes. I made it in. The only challenge that I've encountered so far is that the letters went out on Jan 4 - was received on Jan 5 - and had to respond no later than 5 pm on Jan 6th - with orientation beginning on Jan 14th, 15th, and 20th! Talk abou...

This is exactly what I had to do - fill out a waiver and voila - Financial Aid to the rescue for Spring 2010! The only caveat was that my previous degree was in a non-nursing related field prior to declaring my current major in Nursing. Definitely fi...
My orientation dates are January 14, 15, and 20th. Various workshops will be included during these dates. Also, my letter stated that to NOT buy any textbooks before orientation but the books are posted on the bookstore website. I was hoping to b...

I started my pre-reqs in Fall of 2002. Just obtained a General Studies AA in Summer 2009 - which was a requirement to apply to the Fast Track program starting Spring 2010. GPA was 3.9 and HESI A2 was 88%. Did I get in? Well, they will not be sendi...
