    I went for an interview today for a LPN position in a hospital OB unit. Is it true that these position are rare for a LPN. I work at a OB/GYN clinic now Mon-Fri 9-5 this is for 3 12hr shifts 7p-7a what do you think of the change?

    I was told that this guy tends to fly off the handle but then acts as if nothing has happened. The last girl worked for him for 6 yrs left and then came back for 8mo and now left again for personal reason. This is what the reception person told me.

    What is funny is that if any of these people were our patients they would not know the difference that a LPN or an RN was taking care of them. We do just as much as an RN does except for those few things that keep our pay checks different.

    Well it hurts to hear the truth but thanks. I wasn't always a quiter as you put it. I worked as a purchasing agent for a company for 17 years before they closed up I guess it is hard to change careers for me.
