I did not get my preference, but I am more than happy to work at the department they placed me in. I know what specialty area, but not what specific department. =)

Palomar RN New Grad Program
I am guessing they got overwhelmed with all the paperwork that people sent in on Thursday. They probably figured it would be more efficient if they just informed everyone on the same day.

Palomar RN New Grad Program
Did HR say they had 500 applications total(internal and external) or 500 applications for external applicants. Did HR tell you they are only hiring 10 people?

would you drive 31 miles to school ?
I commuted sometimes an hour to get to class and sometimes an hour and a half to get to my clinical facility. If nursing is your pathway and you are really interested in doing it then I feel like distance shouldn't be a problem especially if you have the resources. If you were worried about gas prices and have an unreliable car then that would be a good reason not to drive so far for school.

Loma Linda Pediatric Residency August 2012
Congrats on getting an interview and best of luck! Did they ask all behavioral type interview questions like the previous cohort had stated during the interviews? Or was it a mix of the usual "strength, weakness, hardest struggle in life, project where you worked in a team" type? If you don't mind me asking.

Loma Linda Pediatric Residency August 2012
Thanks that is good to know! I believe I applied for the picu and hematology/oncology I think. Is there a way for me to find out which places I had applied for. The application was in March or April so it was too far for me to remember =/ and the application status does not show which area.

Forgot to attach live scan to application for licensure
Thanks for the redirection of the thread. My apologies for the lack of information. This is for the California licensure by examination application. I attached the application, fee, and passport photo. I completed my live scan, but forgot to attach the live scan document onto the application like it states on the website. 1 copy was for the postal annex that conducted the live scan, 1 was suppose to be attached to my application, and the third copy was for mine to keep for records.

Forgot to attach live scan to application for licensure
Hello, I tried calling the BRN and emailing them, but they seem to be busy. I sent my application for licensure by examination with all the documents with the exception of the 2nd copy of my live scan fingerprint paper. Will I have to mail that separately to them or will I have to do the whole process again? If anyone has an answer to this that would be helpful. In the meantime I will be constantly trying to contact the BRN regarding this issue and will delete the post once I find an answer. Thanks!
