You have to follow policy and procedure at your facility. Usually at the facility we look for s/s of alcohol, drug withdrwals and medical hx. Also diabetes, high BP, psych hx, rule out DTS/DTO/SI things like that Hope that helps.

Just wondering, I haven't heard much about the program but I did go to an open house earlier this year. Was wondering if anyone else is thinkingof applying this coming year or anyone here graduated from the program, would love to hear from you.

Congrats..Houdini:) I haven't heard anything from thembut have heard positive results from two other schools I applied to....so even if I don't get into USF, I will still be in a nursing program in the Summer. Goodluck.

No GRE's are not required. Their intake is 30 students and admissions is every even year. I loved the campus and the dean seems very nice. Goddluck.

I know this may not be your choice but have you tired looking at hospitals in the Central Valley.....Modesto, Madera, Merced, fresno. I know there is still nursing shortages in thses areas partly becasue noone wants to move or live int he central val...
