    I've worked my way up the educational ladder, so to speak. LPN, ASN, BSN, and now working on my MSN. And let me tell you...LPN school was TOUGH. I call it my nursing boot camp. I have respect for all nurses who work hard, regardless of credentials.

  3. Graduating while pregnant

    I graduated my LPN program in 2009 when i was 38 weeks pregnant. I had the baby 3 weeks later and studied for the NCLEX when I could. I passed first try when he was 2 months old and got a job when he was 4 months old. It can be done :)

    Not all schools use the TEAS test. If nursing is something you want to do, look at the enterance exams for different schools. Good luck.

  24. Just getting started, a little intimidated

    A lot of my classmates use tape recorders. I never have...I have kids and no time to listen to the lectures. I take notes on my powerpoints. A lot of people also bring in laptops.
