Okay it is a long time until the letters go out and we are all wondering if our HESI score was good enough. So let's be silly and play detectives and see if we can get an idea of where we stand. For 1000 students with around 30 seats per room, the...

I go to a different campus but my suggestion to you is to go to the library at school and get a nursing fundamentals book and a nursing health assessment book and study over the summer. The first semester is really tough especially if you get behind...

Jclore01-- your welcome. :) Anne--it really depends on what they other 200+ people that apply for that application period have for their GPA and NET, and if there are people with repeats, transfers, or second application point. It changes every time...

Yep, the B would be a 3.0. I added the point scale below. Baker only gives you the extra point once no matter how many times you reapply. I would go and make an appointment with the head of the nursing department and have her go over everything wi...

for first time applicants there is a possible 24 points. for a second time applicant there is a possible 25 points because baker gives you one point for not making it in the first time. you add the gpa's for all the science classes together and divid...

I would say a CNA would make between $9 and $12 depending on experience and what type facility hired into. You can go to payscale.com and it will tell you.

i am not understanding why you keep saying that baker college ct "lost" their accreditation? they never had it, they are working on it. what happened is that they were required to hire more full time employees for the program before they can be con...

i would not count yourself out until you recieve your denial letter. i had a similar score last year because of them lowering my gpa by not counting a lot of my classes in the transfer, and i was a high number alternate. i guarantee there are a lot l...
I am starting in the nursing program in April and I was wondering if someone in the program could tell me what the first semester is like? How many days do you go to school, and are the classes a.m, p.m, or mixed? When do you start internship, and ...

Awwww thanks, I was really starting to doubt myself! I dropped off the acceptance letter yesterday and I realized walking out of the nursing office that this was one of the few time I have left there without wanting to cry....lol. I'm glad that it ...

Thanks, I am really happy to make it in somewhere finally. How are things going at MCC? Please tell me the nursing classes are manageable? :) I received my entrance packet today and it said class of December 2011, that doesn't seem so far away any...

I attend the Clinton Township campus so I can't recommend a teacher for you but I thought that those classes were easier than AP. I guess it is because going into AP if you need to learn so many new concepts, whereas the other classes you find out h...
I was wondering if the NET test was on a computer? I read on an old post that it is on paper, so are we talking about a scan tron or write in? How long does it take for Baker to get the results to you? Also....if anyone is applying for the fall do ...
I am looking at the transfer equivalents from Baker to MCC and it seems like most of my science and psychology classes are marked as electives, are these considered above 1000 or below? I know that most classes do not transfer between schools but I a...

at other schools like baker they add in ap and other grammar tests into the entrance test but do not count it against you in the final test score, only reading comprehension and the math counts.
