Thankful RN,BSN

Is it just me or is there anyone else out there that is annoyed by someone that doesn't have an education beyond high school, that works in a factory, and makes more money than you a professional nurse? Just a question...

I agree money isn't everything. Just would like to not struggle finacially!

Where i work, people always wander into the wrong rooms looking for their family members. How are celebrities protected from this? Also, do they usually want a certain nurse or particular staff members to care for them only or are they really treated...

I'm glad that your ok with making around $40,000/yr. I make a little over $50,000/yr just working the base 3 shifts/wk. Since, i'm out of school right now I will start picking up some overtime.

That's what concerns me. I want to get my Master's degree. What's the point if I don't make anymore money!? I sure don't need the added debt of grad school. However, I'm going anyway I love learning :)

I know a lot of people that work "regular" jobs and have very nice homes, nice cars, and is always on vacation somewhere. While, I'm working hard (just earned my BSN, btw) to pay back loans and I remain driving the same car that I had prior to recie...

One of my pet-peeves is when people write in 3rd person on FB. Like seriously, lol.

What an awkward situation to place the patient in. Of course they wouldn't want to hurt your feelings. I personally, wouldn't want someone I know taking care of me and knowing my "personal business."

Please seek assistance. There are programs out there to help those in need.

Sure it's ok to suggest whatever you like to the nurse. However, it's up to the nurse whether she/he takes your suggestion or not!

No, i didn't know a lot of things prior to nursing school. There are many tasks that i don't enjoy. However, i agree with you stop whining and get the job done!

No one spells that badly. It has to be intentional. She or whoever, must really be bored.

It's possible that the person that was suppose to inform your nurse didn't tell them. It happenes to me all of the time. A CNA may say an hour after the fact,"Oh, i forgot so and so needs tylenol." After a reasonable time (15mins) it is ok to ask fo...

Honestly, I think it's true.

Your good intentions are going to get you in a lot of trouble! Why is it so hard for you to understand that you are NOT the nurse and you have NO business "treating" patients. You are a very dangerous person!

You need to "stay in your lane!" Also, learning how to spell won't hurt. :)

I think that no one should ever post anything about their job, especially if it's negative...! It does make yourself as well as, the company look bad!

It takes some time to get use to. Don't give up just yet!

For me, stress is immediately relieved once i have given report and even more after i've clocked out.
