Thank you all so much for your replies, your'e a wonderful group of people!! And yes, I am very excited and scared to death at the same time, I guess that's normal?? I will be sure to keep you updated, I'm hoping that I have another blood test soon, those #'s make me nervous, my dr. has ordered me progesterone vag. supp. also because I did have a miscarriage very early in a preg. about 2 years ago. I'm still in shock that I only did 2 rounds of Clomid & it worked!!!! :) The hardest part for me, & this probably sounds terrible, I quit smoking the minute I found out I was preg, the side effects from that are awful!!! I'm so irritable, severe headaches, Ohhhh, I hope this passes quick. :chuckle

I just found out that I'm pregnant, had my blood drawn first time, my hcg was 88, 2 days later it was 189, how far along do you think I am according to that #?
  3. Thanks so much Ms. Hobbes. I am so sick of everyone telling me......"Quit focusing on it", or "Just relax & it'll happen". This is just so frustrating, I guess I was hoping that the Clomid would be effective in the first 3 cycles. it's so disappointing.
  4. Do any of you have any thoughts on Clomid, know anything about the success rates? This was my second month on it, & I'm sure that I didn't get preg. again.
  5. Thanks Deb, it's nice to know that there are others out there that understand, after 2 years of trying & going thru every diagnostic test possible, I get sooo sick of hearing, "just quit focusing on it & it'll happen" :angryfire Some people just don't understand.
  6. Thanks for all of your replies, unfortunatley...........got my period full force this morning. Once again, I was letting my mind play tricks on me. I start Clomid on Sunday, 100mg, maybe it'll happen next month? Infertility really sucks!!! I see soooo many preg. women, young, no jobs, smoking, drinking, drugs, it's just not fair.
  7. Here it goes............ I've been trying to concieve for 2 years now. In Feb. I started seeing a fertility specialist, did numerous tests on me & my husband and couldn't find anything wrong. I started on Clomid this month, (first time I ever took it), well, I had alot of side effects, moodiness, hot flashes, extremely tender breasts..... Today is the 28th day of my cycle & my period is actually due today, I went to the br & there is some very light pink & brown d/c, no cramps, could I be preg. after only one round of Clomid or is my mind playing tricks on me? Any thoughts would be very much appreciated.

  9. Don't really have any suggestions, but just wandering.....where are you in the Caribbean? I love the Caribbean!!!!
  10. Employers don't have to supply a light duty position for pregnancy, only for worker's comp injuries.
  11. HAPPY NURSING ASSISTANT'S WEEK!!!! You all deserve a pat on the back, we nurse's couldn't do our jobs without you!! :balloons: :) :balloons:
  12. I have ALWAYS believed that nurse's aides do not get the pay or the respect that they deserve. Where would we nurses be without them? They are our eyes & ears, they are "hands on" with the patients day in & day out. I personally have always treated my C.N.A.'s with nothing but respect, and they have always treated me with the same.
  13. Looking For A Study On Interventions. :)
  14. Thanks again Talino, your a great help!! :kiss
  15. Talino, am I reading this right? If I have a resident that is independent for bed mobility utilizing half siderails, but staff puts the siderails up for them, they would be coded as set-up? Also, are we NOT supposed to be coding for long acting medications anymore, ex: Vit. b12 inj. given a month ago?
