I would give it another week, especially with rolling admission. I applied to med school last year and had the same thing happen. I called every other friday - just to enough to keep in contact, but not enough to annoy anyone.

It really depends on the school you are applying to. My school says you need a 3.5 for the accelerated program - but due to competitiveness, the avg GPA is usually higher. I know there are many schools were a 3.4 would be competitive! Good Luck!
