UNC-CH Accelerated Program

Well, I received an update yesterday - they have not mailed any letters yet, and they do not plan to until the last week of March. At least I can stop stalking the mailman for a few days!!!

Congrats to everyone that's gotten in so far!

I applied to that program and got the same news! They certainly take their time!

They sure do, wecn! They told me on the phone that it may be as late as April 15th (but not likely). That would only give us 1 month to prepare if we get in. Good luck to you!!

I applied there last year and they sent out letters on the 9th of April. I thought that was pretty cheeky of them, considering they're giving you just over a month to prepare to go.

I have no idea why it takes them so long; I heard from the other four programs I applied to WAAAYYY before they notified me. Good luck and keep us posted!

The 9th of April!!!! WOW:confused: I hope we hear earlier than that this year - maybe they have a better system.... *fingers Crossed*

Actually, by the time I heard from them, I'd already given Duke my deposit. So I'm just down the road and across the county line from where you'll hopefully be.

I hope to Hades you find out before April, because that just seems cruel and unusual on SOOOO many levels...

I know this is like over a year ago but I'm curious, did you go to ECU? (that's where I got my undergrad degree) Have you heard back from UNC-CH, and if so, if you don't mind telling me, what was your GPA when you applied? I would love to go to Carolina but I'm afraid my GPA may be too low, even though I'll have a 3.4 pre req GPA once I apply.
