I am local but I didn't see any category on the application about being local or not... I don't think they take that into consideration. Try your best to do great on the TEAS, that may boost your chances. Good luck!

Like someone said, MAKE SURE you check your school's admission criteria, because some schools actually deduct points for repeating classes!

Five. Four community colleges and one university; all within 1 hour of home, that was the commute limit I put for myself.

I'm assuming CSM= College of San Mateo? Did they have the same pre-reqs as the other schools? Good luck to you as well!

Hi there! I applied to CSUEB as well, just sitting here biting my nails for the next three months... I have a 4.0 and a 88.7 on the TEAS, with points for healthcare experience and a second language, let's see what happens... Good luck to all!
