I worked psych for the state of Louisiana several years back as LPN,,,we passed meds, did treatments, and took off med orders. Took care of stocking meds,,,,,meds, meds,meds....I felt like I was just a medication person...moving on with my RN program...

In my understanding,,,you do not get a CNA "license", you get a certification. In my area, near New Orleans, many nursing homes offer CNA courses to work there, or you can go to a vocational school such as Louisiana Technical College. Good luck!

Be careful !! I'm about 99.9% sure CSN requires "American Heart" CPR certification !! Check with the school.....
