hey commuter, Thanks for the reply I jst found a new job and will be starting this week.But im scared becuz I might get fired also if they find out that Im going to school in january and I definitely know that there wont be anytime to sleep since I'll prolly get home at around 1230 then start waking up by 6 am.meaning i have 4 hrs of sleep for 1 yr.Soundz crazy, Also I know that some clinical rotations goes frm 8-5 so I dont know if they'll let me do that.Hopefully something good will happen

Hi, I was supposed to start an lvn program this month but decided that I'll start in january so I can save up more money. I told my admission representative that Im planning to study in january instead of this year and they said ok. School 7-2 work 3-1130 How hard is it going to school fulltime and school fulltime.Your stories would be appreciated.Thanks

HI all thanks for the reply Hi commuter we both have the same problem,My parents just keeps telling me go find a job keep working working working.BUt I want to become A very successful person in the near future.I just dont want to become a person who's going to work paycheck to paycheck just like what im doing now. MY MAIN GOAL IS TO BECOME AN LVN FIRST SINCE I DONT HAVE THE SUPPORT THEN CONTINUE MY RN SINCE I'LL HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO PAY FOR IT. IN THAT CASE I WILL DEFINITELY TRY MY BEST TO HAVE A GOOD FUTURE FOR ME. AND DEFINITELY WOULD HELP MY PARENTS OUT EVEN THOUGH THEY DONT WANNA SUPPORT ME. Hi all, I thank all of you for replying, my parents have good credit history I dont have any good credit history and also I couldnt get approved for other grants but did got approve for stafford loans.They estimated my stafford and it went about 4,000 for but i still hve to pay the rest ouf of pocket which cost about 800 a month. I will try my best to try and finish it, It will be hard but we'll see how it goes..GOOD LUCK TO ME Hehehe.. Thanks again for giving me advises

hey thanks for replying.How you doin so far in the program?well yeh my parents doesn't support me right now..I really dont know why.they'd rather make me pay 800 a month than them doing the loan so I wouldnt have to pay anything after graduation. Oh wellz...i guess I will try my best to do it. Goodluck for us both.

Hi all, Im starting my lpn program nxt month its a 14 months program and im paying 800 a month.I get paid about 1,400-1,500 a month Im 20 and my parents doesnt want to help me do the loan.I didnt get approved cuz i had no credit My parents doesnt wanna help me becuz they think I cant finish the program..Im going to provedthem wrong, so I will sacrifice paying that much money just to finish without ever needing help from them. I will go to school 4 times a week during morning and would work probably about 6 times a week during nights and morning just to pay my tuition HOW HARD IS THE PROGRAM?ESPECIALLY IF I HAVE TO KEEP WORKING AND WORKING..IM SURE A LOT OF YOU WORKED ALSO WHILE BEING IN SCHOOL....PLS HELP SOME ADVICE WILL BE APPRECIATED

Which course would you rather take?surgical technologist or Lvn?I heard that lvn's are getting phased out in the hospital and maybe in the near future.Pls provide me with some information regarding which course I should take.Your help will be greatly appreciated. Yes, I believe so thanks for the reply.I have been working there for 2 years and me and my boss became very close, now that we are getting fired cuz there's 3 of us.SOme of us would like to resign as well.Anyhow After I am done with my program I believe I'll be a good worker and would definitely earn more.

Well if they fired me, my boss told me that the only reason I would get fired is because I wouldn't be able to work in the morning since ima be at school.But the owner is such a bad person that he wants me fired.instead of working in the weekends or even at night.

Hi all, last week I posted something about me getting fired because of school.Now it is Official and only a matter of weeks for me to get fired or laid off.I was just wondering am I able to get Unemployment chekcs from the gov't if i get laid off or fired even though I am going to school? I am very furious a my job and wants to quit right away, I am the Data Entry Lead clerk .MY boss asked the owner if I could work the weekend and she said that I can't since I cant be there in the Weekdays why should I work in the weekends.He even told her that she should just fired or let go of us if we can't work in the weekdays. It's the owner that wants us fired.Yes (US)3 of us are getting fired because we are planning on going to school.I will start my program in January and would love to get unemployment checks from the gov't.My boss is the best boss I could ever have. I hate to leave a job that pays pretty good, but I know in the end I'll find a better paying one.Hopefully the owner suffer since he's going to fire 3 of us. Hey There is a lof of school here in California I am from Southern California.There's a school close where I lived cost about 15,000 before it was 12,000 last year,but I think it would go up pretty soon.If you want the number I'll be glad to give it to you.There are also some other schools that cost about 18k.

Hi, my friend did the same thing she finish the 1st year of her ADN program here in California and after that they challenged the lpn/lvn test.I believe you could take that after you finish the first year of your adn program which is like an lvn class.Im just letting you know what my friend did. Hope you pass!!
