what's the point of asking for references after they offer you a job? are we at risk of losing our position?....... good to know before I say no to everyone else

MICU has 4-5 spots when I asked. They sent out offers out on Friday though!

I got an offer from MICU today! I am also waiting to hear back from others that I would prefer over this one but I talked to the recruiter and she was flexible in letting me wait until I heard back from the other department!

anyone else receive an offer from UTSW but waiting to hear back from another hospital? how are yall handling that?

I was told I wouldn’t get a response back until 11/9 so I was surprised when I got the call/email yesterday!

Is it a phone or video interview?

Oh I just looked and it’s the COVID unit that’s Winter 2020. Maybe they want you to start December? Unless it’s just a typo and it should say Winter 2021. which it could be!

Does anyone know if Baylor sends rejection letters? I’ve lost hope at this point LOL

Yes. Winter 2020 residency is January/February 2020 start date. In other words Winter 2020 was at the beginning of this year! We’re applying for Winter 2021 which starts February 2021. Does that make better sense? Sorry it can be confusing!

So Winter 2020 start date is February 2020. Winter 2021 start date is February 2021!
