Since the application due date is only a little over two months away, I figured I'd start a chat for applicants applying to Suffolk County Community College Spring 2021 nursing program! Just curious what other peoples stats / TEAS / rubric scores are...

I called yesterday since I’m still waiting on a decision too, she asked for my ID number and she said my app was still under consideration and that more decisions could be sent now until early May. Keeping my fingers crossed for us!

That’s very true. I’m a little surprised that they don’t take any medical experience or anything else besides stats into consideration ?

I wish they would open up more seats in the program. Also, as far as suggested pre requs go, they want you to have Eng101&102, HIS, stats, biomedical ethics, psych101, A&P1&2, lifespan dev., and microbio? Am I missing any?

No problem! I’m with ya on that. The amount of times a day I check my email is getting a little concerning haha. Hoping for good news for all of us!

They do send rejection emails. I believe they go out at the same time as acceptance emails but I’m not 100% sure on that one

I'm in the same boat with the drive, it would definitely be a doozy but it wouldn't be forever! The application deadline for NCC passed, I believe the last date to apply was the 9th of this month. If all else fails for this Spring, I'm trying one mor...

Unfortunately I didn't get into Suffolk's program, so Nassau's my only other option for the Spring start! I know Nassau lets in more people than Suffolk for the Spring start program so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
