Hey! It really depends on the instructor. I had two different instructors for patho I and II and their teaching styles were very different. Personally, PPTs helped me in patho I and for patho II, I depended on the book.

I recommend HBU, St. Thomas, UTHealth, Texas Woman's, and UTMB I'd still say to try and apply for PV because it doesn't hurt to submit an application anyway!

hello, I am sorry for the late reply! I had a GPA of about a 3.5 overall and a 94 on my HESI. Fall 2020 is the last semester they'll be taking the HESI A2 exam and they will be taking TEAS only from now on!

I can't say much about their program itself however, the admissions process at prairie view has been very disorganized. Applying there has honestly given me a huge headache

congratulations! were you taken off a waitlist? or did you not hear back until today?

A spot may be available all the way up until August 25 according to the waitlist email because that is orientation week which is mandatory. So people have until then to give up/accept a spot I’m assuming

I got the same thing. I applied for fall but it says that!

I got a rejection email this morning that told me I didn’t get into the nursing program but I did get into the nutrition, kinesiology, and health sciences programs. Is that how all rejection letters are?

I know it is a point based system but how are we supposed to know how many points we have? will they be sending out decision letters all in one day? or do they come out in waves?

I read at online that they cap the number at 120 for each cohort but I saw that on facebook there are 130+ in the group, does anyone know how many they are accepting?

Mine is still under review, but I also have an application for Fall so we'll see. CONGRATS again to everyone so far!
