  1. ED reached out for second round interviews.
  2. Anyone who's gotten a job offer looking to relocate and find roommates? ?
  3. Average behavioral questions for sure! I had 3-4 clinical scenarios but I honestly don't remember what they were and I think I had about 12 questions? My best advice is to make sure you're going into it feeling confident and don't let your nerves get to you!
  4. Hello! I have zero connections to the hospitals that I have received interviews for (I'm not even from the area) - So it is doable! I have my BSN, passed NCLEX, ED preceptorship, BLS/ACLS/PALS/CPI/NIHSS/Safety Management and Response Techniques, 7 years of experience working with children, and many volunteer experiences (nursing and non-nursing) including a medical mission abroad (one of my best talking points). I revised my cover letter and resume with SO MANY times that I couldn't even keep track, I started during my last semester in nursing school because I knew it would be a work in progress. Always tailored them to the specific hospital and unit and I really made myself stand out in my cover letter and made sure to highlight my diverse experiences. I prepped for all of my interviews and made sure I had my stories lined up, such as "Tell me a time when... ". The interview was with a 10 person panel, and I made it a point to show my enthusiasm, excitement, and gratitude for being there. Honestly, I was myself.. and it's all about being a good fit with the team they have and if you're not that's okay. You will find your place, promise.
  5. Hey guys! Anyone on here interview for ED on Friday? I received a reference check that same day and was wondering if others did as well (or if anyone from other units has insight). Also, I think they interviewed 10 of us- Any idea how many they'll take?
  6. ED had me send my top 3 time slots for the interview but I’m wondering if anyone who also applied to ED has gotten a time confirmation?
  7. Hi everyone. I just heard back from the ED for an interview.
  8. Of course! And thank you, like wise :))
  9. I had the same question so I called HR and they said it’s just called a speed interview because they’re SUPER short. 10-15 min max.
  10. I didn’t. But I know people have requested it in previous cohorts!
  11. Got an invitation to interview this morning for the ED and went ahead and picked a date. In person interview in 2 weeks.
  12. Hi guys! Just got an email to schedule an interview, this is for the ED.
  13. Thank you for the update! ?
  14. Has anyone heard back from Grossmont?
  15. Nothing on my end. Applied to ED and Urgent Care.
  16. Chula Vista ED has started sending out interview invites. I didn’t apply to Memorial so that’s all the info I know!
  17. It seems like Memorial PCU and ED have sent out interviews. Not sure about other floors. And I haven’t heard of Grossmont or Chula Vista calling yet, but who knows!
  18. Yay for the interview invites!! It seems like Memorial is the first to start making calls since their program starts in August compared to Grossmont which starts in October! If anyone hears from Grossmont ED, let ya girl know?
  19. I applied to Grossmont ED! Nothing on my end!
  20. Do you know which ED started scheduling interviews, by chance?
  21. There is no official closing date! On their site it says they’ll close when they reach enough qualified applicants.
  22. I’m sorry to hear that! Do you mind me asking which ED you applied to? I applied to ED as well, at Grossmont.
