They asked for my quick results but kept saying that they are keeping an eye on NYS website bc they need my license #. I took the NCLEX about a month before Fellowship start.

Hey. Yes, I started yesterday with orientation. They said to take the NCLEX asap. It took 3 weeks for my license to show up on the NYS website and an additional week for ny physical RN license in the mail.

To my knowledge, nothing happens. It is just an commitment, not contract.

Thank you. I received the offer letter a few hours after the phone call on 6/7. I would give your recruiter a call and tell her that you haven't received the formal offer email. You have to accept it online and then start a bunch of online modules and your pre-employment screening has to be finished and approved before the start date.

I have accepted an Oncology fellowship position and had my pre-employment screening last week. I have not heard anything from the recruiter since last week. I passed my NCLEX 2 weeks ago so I should be all set. The tentative start date is apparently still July 29 but I have not gotten any details or know what is going to happen after the first orientation day. My friend was offered an OR fellow position. Has anyone else been accepted to the Oncology fellowship at LIJ Ney Hyde Park?

Out of curiosity, has anyone accepted the Fellowship offer and withdrawn later?

I wasn't able to see my progress at all. I was contacted by a recruiter and that was the only reason how I knew they started the interview process for the July Fellowships.

The start date is July 29. Same problem here. I actually called NYSED and asked how long it would take for me to get the ATT#. I just graduated this week. She said that they are backed up and now working on March applications

Hi everyone. I have an interview on Monday for the Oncology Fellowship starting July 2022. I am extremely nervous and was wondering if anybody here who went to the interview has some advice on how to prepare for it and can tell me if they ask clinical questions? Please!

Hi everyone. I did get a call from a recruiter regarding the July Oncology fellowship. I was invited to start phase 1 of 2.

So as far I know the students with a golden ticket were able to register last month and they are re-opening the fellowships about 2 months before the start date, but I would check every day. If you applied last month for a July Fellowship, you would not have to re-apply cuz they have not even gotten to the July applications yet.

Hey everyone. I applied for the July oncology fellowship for Manhasset and LIJ. According to the northwell health program director, they are still processing the April fellowships so for noe we just gotta sit tight. I am graduating this May ?? good luck to everyone.

I just saw that you talking about LIU Brooklyn. I'm at LIU post and I started the accelerated Nursing program this week. Their accelerated Nursing programs starts in may, and their 4 year program starts every Fall.

As far I know the Nursing programs at LIU post start every Fall. You can still apply for Fall 19, some candidates might drop out. You should sit down with a transfer counselor and discuss that with them.

Hi. I know this thread is old but out of curiosity, did you transfer to the nursing program at the community college? Did you run into problems with transferring classes/credits? I have the same problem right now.

sorry for the late response. I hope were able to get some information somewhere else. The school was very close to penn station. Unfortunately, after spending all the money for transcripts, HESI exam and so, I found out that they discontinued the Accelerated AAS program without telling any of the candidates.

Hi, I know it has been a while since someone posted here but I am looking into St. Francis for Fall 2019. Anyone apply for the program yet? Phillips school of nursing is not offering the AAS of Fall 2019, they actually getting rid of that program. I found that out the hard way after submitting my application, taking the HESI and paying for everything ? I am also going to apply to Farmingdale Advanced standing program for Spring 2020.

FYI!!!!! I just got an email stating "Phillips School of Nursing is NOT offering the AAS program in Fall 2019"

Hi. So I went to an open house at PSON too last October and they told me the same thing. I sent my application in October but just took the HESI last week and updated my application, recent transcript etc. When I checked my application status it said "Deadline 12/1/18". I am honestly not sure what is going on ? I wonder if they have gotten so many applications that they decided to change the deadline ❓
