  1. Just got rejection letter. Good luck!!!!
  2. Usually thru the week of the previous boards are legit. Just breathe lol.
  3. Well, if I hear I’ll post it. If you hear let me know.
  4. Not yet. Which track did you go for? Do you know what track has already been called?
  5. She (Abbey) told me that that was up on the air. It depends on needs, but she also said generally 20-30 people. She also said that there was 71 interviews. It’s scary - I did my peds and preceptorship there and it was HOME you know? The culture is amazing!
  6. I have not and now I’m sick to my stomach. This is only place that extended an interview to me so now I’m concerned lol.
  7. They have until the 28th, but previous cohorts seemed to start hearing back on Tuesday. I’m praying for us all, but it’s so lucrative!
  8. Just got a call this morning for interview! I’m excited!!!!!
  9. Same @Maddy Campbell - I hope to hear from them soon. Let me know if you hear anything and I’ll do the same!
  10. @Maddy Campbell - so far no one in my cohort has. Maybe they are breaking formula and going by a different system for their call backs
  11. Not yet. Previous cohorts started hearing back on the first Wednesday of October. I also applied for the MedSurg tract. So it’s been critical care Wednesday, MedSurg Thursday and periop Friday from earlier starts. Good luck!!!
  12. I’m applying for the MedSurg tract. So nervous!
  13. Be careful with the lotions and hand sanitizers - I have to fight for my lotion since I am allergic to the hospital approved lotion. Admin is very strict on what can be used. My go to items is mech pencil, dry erase markers, gum, a pocket light *i work nights* and a good pair of scissors.
  14. PCT is not a low stress easy job. Patient reg was the easiest Healthcare relayed job I've done with very little stress.
  15. I also had difficulty, but Khans Academy helped a lot. I just studied the formulas, studied the videos and passed my class. I take statistics in 5 weeks, but my spouse is taking that now and it looks to be so much easier than algebra.
  16. U you Have To Apply At One Of The Partnered Hospitals Prior To Applying And Must Maintain The Position Until At Least The First Day Of School. Some of the Partnered hospitals are methodist dallas, parkland, baylor (I think) and I do believe any in the THR network. The application will tell you which hospitals are Partnered. (Sorry about the random capitalization-my phone is playing with me)
  17. I just finished my application for both the online and the on campus program Fall 2017. My overall GPA is 3.34 and my science so far is 3.75. I am finishing my sciences this semester as well as my stats and med term and summer I am taking Patho and Pharm (yes, I know its not recommended but neither was taking all three sciences in one semester) over the summer. I am partnered with Dallas Methodist (Mansfield campus) and I have 3 considerations. I'm very excited about this - been my dream for years and I am just now able to do this.
  18. Hello all! I am new to the community, even though I have lurked for forever and use this board to answer a ton of questions. I JUST finished putting my applications in for the online and the on site BSN program at the University of Texas Arlington. I'm nervous since this has been a goal for me since I was 17, but life kept happening and I have never been able to realistically attend such a rigorous course, let alone apply for one. My question is for all of those who have applied to UTA. My HESI A2 score was 91.5% overall, my sciences (so far) GPA is 3.75 (taking Chem this semester), and the rest of my GPA is 3.34. I have 3 considerations - I work at a partnership, a large portion of my course work and all of my sciences were taken at UTA. I've missed deadlines for other programs in the area since yesterday was my first opportunity to take the HESI so my hopes are kind of riding on this. (My overall goal is to be completed with school by the end of 2018 which is perfectly do-able with the accelerated program). What do you think my chances are? Any opinion is welcome - but I'm really looking for personal stories from those who wish to share them. Thank you all!
