Private vs public what? School. Yeah, the private costs about 3-5 times more than public. You can find excellent programs at both type of schools. You can also find cr@ppy programs at both types.

If we're talking about schools, then I would go public for sure. It's a lot cheaper and you can get a quality education.

In Ireland there are no private nursing schools. We all get a BSN and then become nurses, no nclex. We study for BSN at college/university....which are public :) never knew that in america nursing school could be private or public! u learn something new every day!! :)

I think it depends on your situation, if your lucky enough to get into a public school w/o a waiting list then do public but if your going to be on a waiting list for an extended period of time then you can go private not all private schools cost a fortune.
