  • Prioritize actual problems before potential before potential future problems
  • Prirotize accoding to Maslow (ABC)
  • Recognize and respond trend vs transient findings
  • Recognize Sign of emergencies and complication vs expected client findings
  • Apply clinical knowledge to procedural standards to detrmine the priority action

I learned to read the answers then try to understand what are they asking you! For example they gave you WBC,RBC, Platelet, PT, PTT and you categorize them as neutropenic and coagulation labs! Then you read the question and they ask you if pt. who has cancer which lab would you monitor! This way you can find the answer (always try to categorize the answers to find the correct answer) She also told us again about nurselab offers free SATA practice questions! So you're saying here, read the answer choices first? That's a different thought I've never had before. I must try this. Wow that's really a cool way of looking at things.
