Hello XNavyCorpsman, That is what I actually need help with learning how to breakdown the questions, what key words to look for ect. Any suggestions on where or how can I learn that from? I mean know of a any review that jut does that? I do have Kaplan but I'm really struggling with their decision tree. Thank You!!

Hello everyone, i study about 8-10 hrs per day doing the content. Then I feel oh crap what did I study?? It doesn't stick!! i need help!! I'm only 3 weeks away from the test day. I have not practiced a lot questions. You think I should continue with review content( which doesn't stay in my head) or do questions??? How did you guys prepare for NCLEx. i have been running away from the questions because it takes me long time. I review every single rationale wrong right doesn't matter then I write them down. So it gets very time consuming and I lose my focus after about 50 questions. Ppl say to do 150-200 questions per day but how are they able to do that many questions???? Please advice!!! I heard there are people or reviews that teaches you how to pick the right answer i already have Kaplan I have hard time using their decision tree plus heard doesn't work either. My second issue when I'm doing the questions I get them wrong and that gives anxiety like I don't know the content so I back to the hurst or other books.... i just need help!! I'm only 3 weeks away from the test and I don't know what to do!!! Resources I have are: Kaplan,Lacharity,hurst,3500,lippioncotts Q&A book, mosbys q&a flash cards, ncbn review.I .... I feel like I got too many and don't know who turn too.... pleaseeee help!!!

Hi everyone, I really need your help. Graduated in the middle of dec 2014. Took a break from studying( family came from overseas) and now it feels like that break is not ending. I want to get back or perform study habits however, I have so many resources don' t know which one should I start from. List of the resources I got....I find myself going from one to another but not getting anywhere I still have not recieved the ATT yet... list of the resources I got are: 1) lacharity delegation ect 2) Saunders 3) lippincotts Q&a nclex RN 4) Virtual ATI seems like crap to me but anyone else gotta better experience please maybe I'm not doing something right there 5) Kaplan review along with their content book 6) lippincott's alternative questions... any advise, suggestions or anything else is more than welcome. 7) I bought a quik notes for pharmacology from mosby THANK YOU FOR THE TIME OUT TO READ MY POST!! :)

I have been an LVN for 5 years.... Have done hospice,LTC,homecare... I can promise you will LOVE hospice nursing!!!! Best time of my so far nursing career. Everyday when I returned home from work I knew I made feel someone comfortable. Not just the pt even thier families!!! Just loved it!!!

Hello Everyone.....Thanks for the replies...I just wanted to give you all an update.. I just LOVE my job!!! I can actually say its the BEST rewarding job I've ever had....I am sooo glad that I accepted this job!! it took me about 3 months to say this but its totally what I actually became a nurse for!!!! I use my skills as needed, I am able to give my best because I have 1 pt,love seeing the diffrence that I am making for my pt and thier families, our ALMOST all doc's are very nice and helpful,I get to learn something new everday from them!!THANK YOU ALL for taking the time out and replying to my post.I still have A LOT to learn..

I am just concerned if I made the move too fast I mean I am still a baby nurse I myself have SO much to learn and at hospice I wont be using much of clinical skills I am afraid I might loose them. Also I've been used to working in fast pace and this would be a very slow pace. I am worried if this is right place at right time.I do want to do this because I feel it is right purpose of being a nurse instead of working at rehab center and pop narcotics. PLEASE ADVISE!!!

hey....Don't worry believe me I was in ur shoes 4 weeks ago....I could not sleep anymore or do anything else lolzz....but when I got results it was not bad....its just natural...cuz they questions are very diffrent than what we've been preparing and as far meds goes I had a lot of med questions and BELIEVE me I didn't know 1 med outa thoes....so don't worry U will be just fine...!!!! let me know when u get ur results....untill then take care n DO NOT worry!!

I recent got a job as LVN. I want to buy a PDA I think I am going with Palm with TX since everyone seems to like it. But I wanted to where can I get the programs to download into the palm.I want Tabers, a drug book and labs!!!

Hi, I REALLY NEED HELP!!! PLZZ.....I am taking my nclexPN on the 26th feb08 I didn't get chance I just feel like I don't know anything...I passed ATI with 90% you all might okay then you must know something but belive I guessed alot too so i guess my guess went well....right I am confused how and where should I study from. I mean it is better if just study the questions with rationals from saunders or I should read the whole book?? I also bought 3 weeks from NCSBN so right now thats what I am doing...do u guys think that if I just study NCSBN 3 weeks and do their questions over n over again I will be okay??? I am very sorry for being very lost and asking you guys all these silly questions. I had a death in the family so I just didn't get chance to study. Now Nclex is here....PLEASE HELP ME...any suggestions are very welcomed!!! thanks to u all..
