Wow. No one has started such a thread yet?
After promising that most K-8 students would be in schools in the first 100 days, apparently Joe is afraid to lead on this and has drastically scaled back that goal.
Instead, we're shooting for about half to go to school at least one day a week, by the end of April.
Tweety said:Luke I sad before, the good thing about being a lame duck is you have no more ducks to give.
Says a lot about his character, doesn't it? Some of us aren't surprised.
He Is the POTUS. He should be giving a duck until the end of his term and thereafter.
Are you not going to give a you know what for your patients in your last few months before you retire? Of course you will.
Biden once again didn't attend the Army-Navy game. This year's game played about eight miles from the White House. No ducks to give, I suppose.
Trump was there, again.
Tweety said:But I don't think they are "obsessed with pedophilia". Like the rest of us they aren't about pedophilia.
It took you awhile to get there. Frankly, the comment you replied to was so ridiculous that it wasn't worth my energy to make the keystrokes.
Tweety said:What I don't appreciate are lies like "liberals are trying to normalize relationships between adults and children". Yawn
Agreed.

I didn't say he wasn't doing his job. He just doesn't give a f what you think about it.
Attending a football game isn't his job, it's a tradition. Considering we re-elected a President that skipped a lot of tradition, this shouldn't bother you.

Hmm, yeah I guess you're right. But, along those lines do you think he is doing his job? I don't think he's been the one actually running much of anything for quite sometime. And certainly not now. If not, I'm sure we'll hear more in the future.
And, right again you are about the football game. I guess some skipping of traditions are more bothersome to me than others. Frankly, I don't recall what traditions Trump skipped. I'm sure he did some and I guess they didn't bother me much.
The game doesn't bother me much either. I would hope though that the Cimmander-in-Chief would go to it since just about every Cadet and Midshipmen/midshipwoman/midshipnonbinary is in attendance and other military stationed all over the world are watching. And, it's a two minute helicopter flight from his home.

Trump didn't attend the Kennedy Honors traditionally attended by Presidents. No big deal.
Trump made the Army-Navy game, he received a warm welcome and it was noted his key allies attended with him. Trump may have been the first President elect to attend the game on record when he attended the last time he won. The game is played annually and it's expected the President attend, but not necessarily all the years of his Presidency. Bush for example in eight years attended three times.
Meh,
You've mentioned before you didn't think Biden was actually in charge given his mental decline so I won't belabor any points. But yes, he's still doing his job. Lame duck presidents do tend to lay low as they can't and don't try to get legislation passed. He also laid low when he was asked to remove himself from the race and let Harris take the spotlight. But he's working on the transition, has made statements about events in Syria, South Korea and Israel. He was recently in Africa. The other day he granted clemency to 1,500 people and more pardons, which is something I've noticed other Presidents do in their final days.

I wanted to correct myself and say that maybe Trump didn't skip "a lot of tradition", but some such as meeting with the elected President for the transition when he lost. He did not host the unveiling of Obama's portrait. Stuff like that.

He didn't show us his tax returns as he said he would; he didn't encourage the public to step up for a life saving vaccine and many of his supporters died; But he created new traditions like scamming people with Trump University, Trump Casino and Trump Charities;he bragged about sexually assaulting teen-age beauty contestants.
Hmm, where have you all heard that we'll see stories like this when Biden is done?
"The Wall Street Journal published a bombshell report Thursday, based on interviews with nearly 50 people knowledgeable of the operations of the Biden White House. The story details the extent to which the president's age has posed an issue throughout his presidency, including from the very start, and the lengths to which aides went to conceal it."

I love the way the media always says "bombshell report". I think it's more of a "meh" report. LOL I'm not surprised that we aren't going to be hearing more stories about his age and mentation and how that was manifested during his presidency. I still say, as I have before, that he was adequately performing his duties, but I guess it was with some adjustments and as we've discussed some cover up.
Obviously this was why he was forced out. So as I said, he and the Democrats did the right thing by forcing him out, something interestingly criticized by some Republicans.
