Just found out I was the only guy in my class to get an 'A' in human anatomy and physiology. I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice to prepare myself for anatomy 2? Most people I know think this stuff is hard, but I think they are just lazy idiots who don't wanna put the time in to study. If anybody has any advice to give me, that would be great. ...and please don't recommend those stupid coloring books. Those things are a waste of money if you ask me.

okay, i'll take the bait. i aced both a&p, aced microbiology and all the nursing core, matter of fact, graduated with honors phi betta kapper and a 3.68 gpa. my patients didn't give a hoot about that though nor my employer. lol.
now i am 4.0 in an advance degree for health sciences, have another honor cord from phi thetta kappa and no one knows at work or at school what my grades are. it just has not been that big a deal. no one is less of a nurse or more of a nurse for a grade point average.
you are obviously able to make an a so just do what you are doing. good luck in micro and chemistry. micro was a fun class.
i will now leave my high and mighty attitude behind. i don't like to ever brag. it is so crude to me.
Well, I was one of two people to get an A in my A and P class.
Now, let me tell you a little something about how I did it.
I was in the wonderful position of being able to do NOTHING but school. My mother was still alive then and she wanted me to invest all my time on school (My mom was so awesome!)
Many of the other "nursing students" in my class, had children or jobs or BOTH! It's easy to excel when you have nothing pressing you in every direction and you are committed to doing fantastically. Now that I have kids and a job and have been doing this for over 20 years I can say that those other nurses have my GREATEST RESPECT. I can not imagine work, kid and school but many of the other students in my class had all of it to deal with and they are the real hero's of nursing school!

Well the coloring books sort of help me out. I think you should just keep on doing what you did for A&PI and you should be fine. How many people were in your class? You are the only that got an A?? Well just stay on top of your reading/studying and you should get another A. I will be taking A&P II as well.
