I have an interview coming up for a Peds ER........I've worked peds and adult ER before, probably around 7 years total..........but way in the past now. Im just trying to think of what sort of questions get asked these days, Im a little out of practice for interviews. Thanks

Most of the questions in an interview are not knowledge based questions, rather, scenario questions to figure out how well one handles complex situations and whether one's personality will fit the unit.

I wouldn't worry about knowledge based questions.
I would focus on, Why do you want to be in pediatrics?
Having had a few adult nurses come and work the Peds side, they have started to miss working with the really sick adults. Peds our bread and butter so to speak, is typically, fevers, ear pains, respiratory with a sprinkling of a really sick kid.
The adult nurses would miss the multi system comormidites
So be prepared on why Peds
Thanks, that will be easy........Ive worked Peds for 10 years

Don't worry about knowledge based questions. I have never been asked those kinds of questions in an interview. Everything seems to be behavioral-based nowadays, like how you deal with conflict/how you deal with difficult patients/doctors/coworkers, etc.
