    I'm waiting, too. I applied to a Bachelor's program for Jan 2007. However, they do not take many transfer students in the January semester so my chances of getting in aren't very high. If I don't get in, I'll take a couple more classes and try again for September. But I'd really really like to get in for January.

    Thanx. I wish you luck, jilaweez. It'll be any day now, right? Almost there. What type of program did you apply for?
    Yes, anyday now!! I applied to two different BSN programs. I don't care what program I get into as long as I get into one and get a good education!! How about you? Congrats again on getting your letter, you must be on cloud nine!!

    I called the college to make sure they have everything, and had been haunting the mailbox since the 1st of October, since they told me they'd send out the letters in October. Called back, and they haven't even STARTED sorting out the keepers! It's going to be early November....:selfbonk:

    Is today the day?! AhhH!

    I'm supposed to be studying for my midterms, but I'm so worried about watching for the maillady -- heh!

    Best of luck, everyone!

    I sure hope so. My mail will be here in an hour. I've never been such and impatient person. I am usually really laid back and take things as they come, but this is making me a nut. It's like waiting for Christmas when your little (hopefully it won't be like the time when you didn't get the one thing you really, really wanted)!

    Jilaweez, I applied to one school for an ADN program. They go by a point system but it's easier to get the adn and continue with the bsn after graduation. There are lots of students being sent in that direction. I am so excited! Did you get your letter today? What field of nursing are you pursuing?

    Thanks nrs2bnfl. You got in? I wish it they used gpa here. I have a 3.82 but if the points werent there you have no chance. I'm glad things are going well for u. Good luck. vbmenu_register("postmenu_1877300", true);

    Yeah! Congrats to all who have received their letters for spring 2007. I applied to two programs, an accelerated BSN and an ADN at the local cc. I received my acceptance letter yesterday for the ADN program and was so excited!! The A-BSN program is still my first choice, but I am thrilled to know that I have a seat in the ADN program if I want it.

    Really, I have not givin it much thought. I was going to look it over when we have a break :spin: . Are you a member? What do you know about this?
    I am reluctant to become a will appear on your transcripts.
    As far as I know you will have assistance with scholarships etc through them.
    I have this image of snooty toot, obnoxious, ditzy individuals in my mind which I don't need to belong to...having to be around snooty officer's wives in the US Army is more than I can handle.
    I may just be too ignorant to understand what it's all about....sounds like way too many politics to me.

    The letters are slowly rolling in...Congrats to all those who got theirs!!

    Did you get your letter today? What field of nursing are you pursuing?
    I still didn't get worries though. I don't really have a set field in mind yet. There are so many I am interested in, I'm hoping to find my nitch when I get into clinicals. I do like things that are fast paced and really hands on..I work well in high stress situations....but it sounds like most fields in nursing fall into that category. I love that Pfizer guide to nursing careers but the more I flip through it the more jobs I see that I like...
    For now, I just want to get into school!!
