TEAS test.. calculator for Math section?

Oh boy, I just took my TEAS tonight and we were not allowed calculators, which I thought was no problem, except for the fact that we got NO EXTRA TIME for the math portion to do the manual calculations!
I believe we got 35 minutes to work 30 problems and many of them were multistep problems. I barely finished in the allotted time and did not have a chance to check my answers. Good thing for me I am strong in math but good golly this can't be normal! I was whipping through the probs at the speed of light towards the end for fear of running out of time.
For those who have taken the TEAS did you get to use a calculator, yes or no?

My friend took the MCAT this year and they don't get to use calculators either!

I had to find a 5th grade math website to help me learn the "long" way to do fractions, whole numbers, etc. I've dealt with percentages for so long I didn't even know where to start!
All of it came back to me, including the algebra, as soon as I scanned over the refresher.

I thought maybe they were making it more difficult than it was supposed to be, but it sounds like that's not the case. It's nice to know that others have had a similar experience.

I am freaking out cause we can't use calculators on the TEAS, and the math class I took taught us on calculators...which doesnt make sense Thank you in advance for your replyHey everyone...don't laugh! I finished, but barely, and did poorly. 8 points less than my last TEAS.
Counting on that score to get me in, I was accepted before, and had to drop becaue my Mom had moved in and was very ill.
