New pre-nursing student...Scared!

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

Hi all. I'm new here. I'm 27 yrs old, married with 2 kids. I'm starting pre-nursing school on Thursday and I am scared to death! I am so afraid I won't be able to do it. I was never good in math and I have been out of school for a while. I 'm so anxiety ridden it's hard to sleep. ANY ADVICE?

Thanks....Rei :o

Everyone who posted has been so helpful. I appreciate the time you took and your responses. It gives me hope that I can do it too. My first class was tonight, math 005, and that has started out easy. I have a long way to go but I just keep chugging along

Love and hugs, Rei

You can do it! Please keep on posting...it's encouraging to the rest of us as well!

I wish you the best with your pre-nursing program. As a fellow pre-nursing student myself with a child, it can be difficult sometimes, but I believe that it will be worth it in the end. As for math, many colleges, like mine, have free tutoring that can help you outside of class. I was once really terrible at math, especially algebra (I totally flunked out of College Algebra), over a decade ago. However, I was able to pass math last semester, so since that happened, I believe that anything is possible! ;) Take care!
