If you're good at math gen chem I is pretty easy IMO. If it's intro even more so. If you're not you'll probably struggle either way.

Are you taking them in person or online? Online sciences are so so difficult! I think if you go in person you can do it! Just use Kahn academy to help with chemistry because it's a tough course. Take advantage of any extra credit, tutoring or workshops they offer! Best luck to you.

Doable, but try to cut down on work hours so you can study.
Some programs wont let you retake certain pre-reqs.

I took microbiology over the summer in 2016. The professor I had has a reputation for being incredibly difficult. That was seriously one of the hardest classes I have ever taken. And we only had 5 week to learn the material. I think we started off with 24-25 students and had probably 15-16 left by the end of the course.

Personally, I wouldn't but it's probably doable if you're really motivated.

    Hey guys,

Thanks so much for your input. Sorry for the delay response. Here is alittle about me and my situation:

I decided that I am going to be leaving my job to attend school full time to get my prerequisites done so I can (hopefully) get accepted to a accelerated nursing program and attend the following year. I am not sure if I will be working part time while getting my prerequisites. The only science classes I ever took in my whole college career was biology and I completed AP1 and AP2 (both B grades) last year while working full time. I have to take chemistry (w/ lab), microbiology (w/ lab), nutritional science, developmental psychology, retake statistics, and possibly take biochemistry and pathophysiology for another program i am thinking of applying to. I am just worried since science isn't my strongest subject that I will be failing if I take the two together all at once. I have a BA in Psych and a 2.7 gpa but I am hoping my prerequisites will overshadow my gpa.

It's very possible! I took micro with a lab along with A&P 2 with a lab with social ethics and English 2! Got all A's and was hard but if you focus and study hard you can do anything!

    Quote from broughden
I took A&P2, Inorganic Chem, Micro, and Human Growth and Development, plus all the labs this semester. Got a 4.0. Its doable if you have the ability and discipline.

I was looking back at my post and I saw your comment and I just wanted to ask how were you able to split up your time with each class? I have decided to take micro, chem, and nutrition and developmental psych (both online). In total, counting the labs, it is 6 classes.
