A&P 1 final

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

Hi Everybody,

Well I have my A&P 1 final next Wednesday. I need to get 80% to get my desired 3.0 grade. I know its not perfect but its accepted at my college. I wish everybody good luck on there finals and especially those taking A&P. I found it to be the most challenging class of my prerequisites. Thanks for all your supportive words this quarter.

I have mine on Tuesday, Lab final tomorrow on Friday, good luck

Good luck!! You'll do great - just be sure to study plenty (and get good sleep the night before the exam)!

Good luck have mine on Wednesday. Lab final tomorrow...agree on getting a good night's rest!

Even if your college has a GPA requirement of 3.0 you should realize that depending on who's applying they will take the most competitive applicant. The University I'm attending has a 3.0 GPA requirement for Nursing, however, based on competition you need a 3.8 GPA minimum to get in and it helps to have volunteer experience at a hospital. Just make sure you're aware of that, unless you are aren't getting a BSN then that explains things. But either way, good luck sir.

Yeah my program is a lottery system. If you have minimum requirements your good. Its a RN program. I gave it my all for this grade. I didn't just slack. I wish it was higher but its not. Just hoping for a 3.0 or better.

I was sick over the cumulative part -- each lecture test had 3-4 chapters - each chapter had a study guide with 60+ questions, all fair game for exams and finals. It was scary, I left the final thinking I did bad, cried because I gave it my all. I got an 88% on the final and early peed my pants lol glad it's over for u as well!

Had my final this morning, ended up with a 95 on it, 92 overall for the grade. Was not feeling the professor for this course, other classmates agreed, he took an already dense course and made it even more difficult. Class average was I believe a 61, of course that falls on the student, but is also is on the professor

That sounds JUST like the professor I had for A+P 2. She was sucha disappointment. It wasn't that it was difficult, A+P 2 should not be easy, it's that it was difficult for all the wrong reasons: she was disorganized, focused on unimportant information, attempting to make it a pathophysiology class. I was one of 5 students out of 20 who passed. She actually edged many students over a 65% even if it was by a few points so they would have a passing grade(she makes a 65% in her class equal to a C so more people pass -- A C is necessary for most medical programs at my CC). It's like get a clue lady.
