Anatomy and Physiology grades this semester.
See this is exactly what I was saying OP. Including myself, sometimes no matter how bad we want things we can't have them. I'm not saying you can't, I'm just saying you gotta study more.

Even if your GPA is only 2.85 now after your personal issues and health issues, why was it so low prior to that in your first or second year? Idk bud, short answer is that no. But you never know, good luck sir.- Favorite ways to study for A&P and biology
Anki, I made a deck for Physiology & Anatomy 100% perfect that covers each class completely (900 cards each). That's all I've done and I got A+ on everything at university so far. I'd send my decks to you, however, my class material probably differs from yours. So what I do recommend is ANKI. It'll change your life. Listen, I'm not trying to be rude but the fact is that Nursing/Nursing School is demanding and although the prerequisites take time, it only gets worse once you're actually in Nursing School. Even after you finish your degree, Nursing is a very demanding profession. It never gets easier and you're always learning. Depending on the situation you're in (and only you know this) you have to ask yourself whether or not becoming a Nurse is a plausible/logical thing to do, regardless of your feelings towards it. Factors to consider are age, current situation in life, financial concerns, innate intelligence, among many other variables. Becoming a Nurse requires a large time commitment, and regardless of whether you need to study for 10 minutes or an hour each day to succeed, and whether you have it easy or hard, you have to either do it and succeed, or not, and do something else. It's up to you. My post was about how you get out what you put in. Either way it doesn't matter what I or anyone else here has to say, it's your life and it will turn out the way it turns out just as it will for everyone else, including myself.- A&P 1 final
Even if your college has a GPA requirement of 3.0 you should realize that depending on who's applying they will take the most competitive applicant. The University I'm attending has a 3.0 GPA requirement for Nursing, however, based on competition you need a 3.8 GPA minimum to get in and it helps to have volunteer experience at a hospital. Just make sure you're aware of that, unless you are aren't getting a BSN then that explains things. But either way, good luck sir.- I'm so nervous and so excited.
Awesome, I'm glad to hear that. I know this is a bit of a forethought but do you have any thoughts on what you want to specialize in?- Anatomy and Physiology grades this semester.
I'm proud of you buddy. It's all about the effort. We can achieve whatever we put our minds to. All hail the mighty Neuron.- Anatomy and Physiology grades this semester.
I got 100% in Anatomy this semester at my University. I study Anatomy a minimum of 2 hours every single day and some days 6 hours if we learn a new unit. I'm guessing you put about 2 hours in every couple of weeks.- Anatomy and Physiology grades this semester.

Doomed.- Pre-Nursing Student! Help...
Sorry, I should have been more clear. Thank you for answering my question about how longs it takes. In terms of the VW, I'm pretty sure my school doesn't care if you have any and I VW'd from a non-essential course, sociology. I VW'd because I really disliked the course and I have don't have enough time to do it. I have A+s at the moment in all my other classes.- Pre-Nursing Student! Help...
This may be a stupid question to ask, but I have a question. I'm currently a pre-nursing student who will likely take 1.5-2 years to finish my prereqs. I have A+ in all my classes (including anatomy) at the moment however I recently dropped one and have VW. I VWd this class because of current things going on in my life and because I didn't enjoy the course at all. I ess my questing is will a VW impact me in any way and does it mater that its going to likely take 2 years to get into my the faculty of nursing? Im 19. Thanks lol... - Do I stand a chance at getting into nursing school?
