hi everyone, i have been stalking this site for so long and finally registered today!!! I must say it really helped me a lot in preparing for my HESI exam.so i am planning on applying into PV CON for the spring semester 2014. I would be submitting my application pretty close to the deadline by September 16ish. I passed my HESI with a 89.5%. I also did pretty well in all my sciences. I had B in a&p 1, a in a&p 2. A in micro-bio and i passed all the other areas too with As and Bs. The only class i had a c in is psychology. my cumulative GPA is 3.4 and supporting GPA looks pretty good too. The only thing is that I am still taking some of my science. Chem, stat psyc and HDFM. Do you guys think i have a shot. Oh the reason i am applying this late is cos i had to take micro bio this summer and i am currently requesting letters of recommendation form my instructors whom i an having a hard time at. Do you guys think i have a shot???

I am so nervous!!!

I had a 89.5% and would be submitting my application my september 16ish. I am waiting for my letters of recommendation.

Welcome to AN Iamnephiza! As long as you apply, you have a shot. Just keep in mind, a lot of us were waitlisted last semester because we were still taking classes. Also, PV is first come, first serve, so complete your application as soon as possible. Your GPA and HESI scores are great. Good luck to you and keep us posted!

Hello guys, I was wondering, for those of you whom where waitlisted last semester; how many hours where you taking and what were the classes? Also, how close to the deadline do you all apply? I'm really nervous that they may not accept me; but I have faith in God that I will get accepted! Here are my stats: I got an overall grade of 87.5 on the HESI, and a 920/1000 on the critical thinking section. I am currently taking my last 9 hours needed (algebra, philosophy, and history 1). Thanks guys!

But she said I would not get the purple app because I'm still taking classes. It should be 2-3 weeks after the deadline. I received my waitlist letter 3 weeks after the deadline last semester and the students that were accepted received it the week before.
