Hello, how is everyone?! This is my first time on all nursing, and I was wondering how far is everyone on their application. Also, for those of you who've already taken the HESI, what are you scores; and is the HESI practice book a good way to study for the exam. I am super nervous, I take mine tomorrow....

Hi Hannah D, welcome to allnurses! I've completed the application. My cummulative HESI score was a 91%. Reading: 90%, Grammar: 90%, A&P: 92%, and Math: 92%. The HESI practice book, 3rd edition is what I used as well. I also used McGraw-Hills Nursing School Entrance Exams 2/E, which helped me out a lot. I preferred that book better than the HESI practice book. Don't be nervous, relax. You'll do just fine. Good luck, and keep us updated!

I am in the processing phase, still missing some documents which i were not aware of!! they did not require letter of recommendation last semester so i am missing those. I have letter from my professor but he emailed me letter and CON wants it in sealed envelope. So, i am trying to contact my professor. lets see what can i do and no purple app yet!!

I understand Lavender2!! A lot of us were placed on the waiting list last semester and we didn't realize they added a new requirement. Have you completed all of your pre-reqs?

Hello lalacb123 and other applicants,

Wow you did awesome in the Hesi; I do not even have those scores now you made me nervous. You got rejected by UTthey are crazy because you did really good in your hesi.

I hope PV is not like other schools that are very concerned with the scores in your Hesi. Pv is my last hope, I took the TEAS for TWU and made a 70%, so sad because they told me that my grades are not good for be a good nurse.

no purple app to me till now!! Because of that LOR i am still in process of application, i guess. yes, you really got good score in hesi, mine is not that good!! And also I am not sure how long it takes to hear back from my professor.
