Practice Test Scores Needed

Published

Hello everyone! I'm a 22 y/o Registered Nurse from the Philippines :nurse:, about to take the NCLEX in a couple of days! :uhoh3:

I was just wondering, what kind of scores should you be scoring on practice tests for the NCLEX? When I took Kaplan they mentioned 65%, but my sister took Kaplan in another center and they told her 60%.

I'm aware that this April 2010 they changed their standards and are going to make the test harder.

Anyone know specifically what I should be aiming for in terms of a score for the practice tests?

Taking the NCLEX for New York State this Monday, wish me good luck!

goodluck and godbless! 60 is fine :) but 65 is better!

memorize the SPIDEMAN!

Did you take Kaplan too or is that just what you heard? Thank you so much! :lol2::lol2:

Don't get wrapped up in scores. Some people get high scores and fail, some get low scores and pass. Some may think that a certain review source is hard, some think it's easy.

Hi Grace. We're the same age and I'm filipino too. I'm currently enrolled in Kaplan's program for international nurses. You need to score atleast 60. Above it is even better. They say there is a very high passing rate if you score above 60% on your question trainers, qbank, and the readiness exam. Goodluck and God bless.

Goodluck :)

Predictor tests and practice test scores are known for going either way, so they are not reliable indicators of readiness. Instead, concentrate on your own judgement as to how well prepared you are. Good luck.
