Hello, I was wondering if anyone that didn't do so great on the online practice test (teas) did a lot better on the real thing?

I took the teas test 2 days ago. I found it to be extremely difficult. I passed but I am not thrilled with the score.
Math was a big problem because I ran out of time. No calculators were allowed. Several problems asked you to add multiple numbers. I won't be taking it again because I passed for the program that I am applying for.
I will answer any questions you all may have. This site help me pass this test.
Spell: changeable, foreseeable, accomodate
Know the following: Tectonic plates, different rock formations, lung function (mucus lining), basic of the earth's orbit around the sun, convert fahrenheit to celsius, 1in = 2.54cm, 2.2 lbs =1kg , periodic table basics, atomic number, atomic mass, protons, neutrons, electrons, ionic bonds, function of rbc. I'll add more as I remember.
I am not trying to scare anyone. Just want others to be prepared. I felt the ati study guide was adequate for reading, english and math. I have been out of school for 10 years. I am trying to bridge from LPN to RN. Good luck to everyone.
Took the Test yesterday. Never considered myself much of a reader or someone who exceled during k-12 but I got 100% lol. Maybe I should have concentrated on my favorite subject Math because I did about the national avg on that mess. Make sure you now your metric system. When I think about it Lately I do poorly on Math when it comes to standrized test (Teas, ACT, SAT OMG). Science was easy except for the physical and chemical section. The science is either you know or you don't. I never took any of those sciences and it showed lol still above the national average and UCF program. English the subject I hated the most in grade school I got an 85% but my grammer still sucks lol, and will always. Should I have really studied, yes, but I was burnt out after this semester. Overall score 82%. I am satisfied not wasting more money I don't have without a job. Pre req GPA 3.83 & Undergrad 3.37 should be enough I hope:smokin:.
I took the teas test yesterday and passed! Just wanted to say thanks to everyone;this site really helped me in terms of knowing what to expect. My advice to those of you that will be taking the teas test in the near future is the following:buy the teas study guide along with the two online assessment test. The package is a bit expensive ,but worth it! Every section of the exam is basic ,so no need to stress out. The math is basic algebra fractions, decimals,percenatages,ratio/proportion,percentages. Review basic earth science, basic chemistry like atomic numbers, what makes up the atomic mass p+N,atomic #= number of protons, not very much anatomy and physio,a few questions using the punett square for genetics. If english is your second language then I would suggest to review grammar and punctuation. The only complaint I have about the math portion is that it required alot of time ,so don't spend too much time on one problem. over all I think it was very basic and I think I stressed a little too much prior to taking the exam. Oh and one last thing is that for the science portion I reviewed with the Kaplan nursing entrance exam book good luck everyone!
