Hello, I was wondering if anyone that didn't do so great on the online practice test (teas) did a lot better on the real thing?
I am going to take the TEAS exam in January. I hear a lot that no calculators are allowed and I am very nervous. I am hoping maybe from Delgado Community college can assist me about this. Or anyone else will be greatly appreciated. Also I was wondering if I could take some nursing classes if I were to be accepted and on the waiting list.. if there is one. Thanks!!
5 Star Nurse...i think you did very good on your teas...i hope you feel better though... anyways...you still remember any questions from the test.. since you did pretty good on the science portion...thanks..
Yes I do remember some questions but my scores are still low according to the school that I am applying to. I am quite frustrated by that
I took it on Saturday, Dec. 5.It was not anything like as bad as I thought it would be. I never took the practice test but I did buy the study manual which helped.
I had the advantage of being in and just about finishing a cellular biology class as well as an algebra class when I took it so I did well on the math section and at least on the life science portion of the science section.
I was very worried about the test. When I first got the manual in early October I didn't know crap and would probably have failed the test, as it is I got an 82 which is pretty good for my small school.
The proctor showed me the results page which said that the program required 66.7 and the national average was 76.
If you study there really isn't any reason why you wouldn't do well. The math and science is all pretty basic and reflects what any high school graduate who paid attention should probably know.
What school did you apply to ? I scored 85 overall and still the school I applied to, still thinks I need to retake the test. I am like, done. I need to consider other colleges at this point seriously

Hello Everyone,
Can anyone please tell me what schools will accept my TEAS Scores; apparently the school I am applying still considers my score very low. I am willing to attend any school for an ADN program, I just don't see why they will consider my score low, just becos I am off by 0.7 point in Comprehension.
Here are my scores;
Reading 85.0 They require a score of 85.7
MATHS 88.0 They require a score of 66.8
Science 96.7 they require a score of 63.0
ENGLISH 78.2 They require a score of 74.6
I think I have done my best and quite frustrated that they would not even consider me just becos of 0.7%. I am quite willing to apply elsewhere that would accept me.
Thanks for ur responses.
