The minimum score to be considered for nursing school varies according to what state you live in or what college you attend. The school i am applying for is in New Orleans, Louisiana. I made an 80% studying only for a few weeks. Make sure you watch your time limit especially on the math section. I ran outta time and had like 5 questions left (no calculators allowed). High 80's or 90's would be a good competitive score! I wish you the best of luck!
Well if the case is because you didn't have an algebra class, why don't you take a class at an affordable community college? You can probably also retake some classes again to get a better grade and a better chance at getting in
To: ladyoj69 I just took my TEAS exam tuesday and from what I remember on the test, you need to know the mRNA and tRNA coding stuff, sccuracy and precision, the primary, secondary, and tertiary consumers, atomic/chemistry section, the rock cycle, hydrologic cycle,etc.. I go to Delgado Community College and that's what was on the test. Good luck!
I am going to take the TEAS exam in January. I hear a lot that no calculators are allowed and I am very nervous. I am hoping maybe from Delgado Community college can assist me about this. Or anyone else will be greatly appreciated. Also I was wondering if I could take some nursing classes if I were to be accepted and on the waiting list.. if there is one. Thanks!!
I am not in nursing school yet but at my school (Delgado CC) you need at least a C in order to be considered. I hope that helps you in some way. I also had a B as my final grade in AP. So relax a bit =)
