Has anyone done practice questions from both? I'm doing the Qbank from Kaplan- and have read most of the book. Now I'm getting low to mid 60's. Before I studied I was getting mid to high 50's.
I've heard of people getting high 60's, low 70's with the Hurst practice test questions after studying. Is Hurst slightly easier?
I would really appreciate any input from anyone who has done questions from both.
Thank you,

I found hurst questions to be a bit easier. I also didn't like the way they laid out some of their rationales.
Thank you for replying. It's so frustrating, all the nervousness and fear. I really can't wait until it's over!

I can say without a shred of doubt that Hurst question were no where near to the level of my test questions on the NCLEX today. I was getting 80's and 90's on hurst and ended up having the max amount of questions today. Definitely do a variety of questions from multiple sources. I agree with zipzip314 that the rationales were not presented how I would have liked. Some rationales didn't offer any insight to why that choice were correct or not. Good luck studying!

On some questions did you feel like the rationale for incorrect answers was simply implying you were an idiot for picking it and that was it? Made me nuts!
I've heard the test makes you feel like, "What was that!?!" when you walk out. I've heard that since they changed it, it's difficult.
I'm so grateful for the feedback! I really am. I got I think a 64 on 50 Qbank questions- then I did another 50 and got one of my lowest scores, 52. So much for that little bit of confidence- lol. I'm doing Kaplan and Saunders. If anyone has any ideas where to get more they feel will be helpful, I am definitely open to ideas.
Thank you again, every word of advice is very much appreciated. :)
I definitely had the "Uhhhh...what the bloody !#*& was that?!?!" when I left. And pretty much all through the test. I wouldn't say it was incredibly difficult, more that it just wasn't what I was expecting. That'll teach me to have preconceived notions about anything ever again lol
YES! Some rationales were basically "this isn't the answer"
Do you know- when and where do you pay the 8 dollars to find out? And also, is it just as reliable to go to the Pearson Vue website and try to re-sign up (I've been told if it lets you to the cc page- that's a bad sign, but if it says something and doesn't let you, then that's supp to mean you passed.) ?

lol @rebecca. the kaplan rationales were painfully short, i mean, few words if any. So it's best to google anything that you think you need to know and write it down! For example, I had no idea what Sengstaken-Blakemore tube was, so I googled it and briefly found out what it was and what is the nursing priority with it; same thing with why we put people with embolism or pregnant ladies in distress in left side. You want to find them out and write them down if you don't get the rationale; they stick in your head that way.

Kaplans were way longer than some of Hurst's! Although, I will agree that it irritated me with Kaplan when on some of the questions had the same rationale for all the incorrect answers.
