  1. Just wondering, what city/state do you work in? And also, my guess is that you just haven't hit a hard day yet.
  2. "As part of the application process, all applicants must complete the Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center Survey. It will take 15-20 minutes to complete.. There are no "right" or "wrong" answers, so please respond to each statement in an honest manner. If you have previously completed this Survey when applying for other employment opportunities in the past 12 months, the recruitment team has the results of that Survey and you do not need to complete it again." I don't know if by a glitch in the system they would get the new results sent to them or not.
  3. Hello, to the person who just PM'd me about the NCLEX/ID question- your mail box is full so I can't email you back- but here's my answer- I'm pretty sure you're gonna be ok. Take your invite.. I think I remember having to take the invite or whatever it was that said where to go, it should have your name on it addressed to you how you normally have it with no middle name? But I'm pretty sure you'll be ok.
  4. I think I can apply for another position.. But they may or may not send the link for the "survey"- and if they do they may or may not send the (new) results. You don't "have" to retake the "survey" for a year. The way I see it, my messed up survey was "last year" and the new one now that I know what I'm doing is "this year!" (They say they want positive attitude as a trait. There it is!)
  5. Unfortunately it didn't say which one it was. But now that I've obsessively done nothing else today but research it, I can say that once you know the traits they are looking for, it's just a matter of practice understanding which questions are testing which traits. And I'm so dum, I don't know anyone who works at Sunrise so I didn't have ANY warning this was some bizarre weed out tool, I literally thought it was a survey to rate the application process and website, etc. Then lo and behold I'm roped into something I was 0% prepared for. And when I think about the unfair advantage of just being warned so many ppl with friends working there had- it just makes me angry. Maybe their true intention is to weed out ppl not in the "know". I just researched the &%@%*! out of it lol all day today and the traits they look for in different nursing areas. Well, New Grad and ER only. It's very interesting once you know what they are looking for. They ARE looking for very specific traits. And you most definitely can prepare yourself. As long as you know the traits and you practice enough. I just wish I'd had warning so I could have gotten a decent test result in with my resume. I sure won't ever not pass one of these things again though. I should have stopped in my tracks when I read "There are no right or wrong answers," since when has that ever been true in life? LOL :)
  6. I absolutely answered the questions as though I love love love everything- I'm so obsessed with being labeled a big NO I've done nothing but read about these tests. I'm about to part with money to buy a training program how to be everything they look for in a nurse. I know they don't want confrontation- workplace violence what they screen for in that question about getting "really angry" and confronting the coworker, but idk what the right answer is. The whole "group-working in a a group" questions- I totally answered I love groups. I love co-workers.. Slow and steady question.. noo but I think it should have been yes? Doing one thing at a time.. noo
  7. I'm in Nevada and took HCA's mandatory supplemental "survey." I was honest about being over 40, and took a while to think about the questions. I googled "pre employment survey" and found out too late you are timed. If you don't go really fast- if you think about the answer it will flag you. ?? I obviously failed- they sent me the rejection email apprx 12 hours later. Does anyone have any experience in how to answer these questions? I tried using the search box here on this website and it's not working ?? that's why I'm making a new post.
  8. Do practice questions- Kaplan if you have them- and remember to pee first. LOL I drank like a pot of coffee and forgot to pee first!
  9. Check your BON website. That's where I checked-
  10. It's there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. Mine isn't either! I know- I so want to see it on the BON site!
  12. I took it! When it didn't shut off at 75, I was DEVASTATED. LOL, it shut off at 76. Not bad for having graduated over 6 months ago! :) For anyone who reads this- I am very grateful I had the blessing of getting the Kaplan review. I feel it helped me tremendously. I'm sad my three months is over- I'm baffled by how much I already miss studying. If there was something about a rationale that had less than a 100% feel to it- I googled or grabbed one of my books. I feel that the questions were very similar. I ran out of time and didn't finish Question Trainer 6 or 7- and only did about half or so of the Q Bank- but my I read that book from cover to cover and took notes and REALLY studied. Which I did need to do after being out of school for so long. Good luck everyone! I got the "good" pop up- so I'm pretty happy! N
  13. 76 Questions, an hour and a half. Not bad for being out of school over 6 months! :)
  14. 48 hours is so long, lol. Wow, really? cc page not necessarily a bad sign? Thank you for sharing that. N
