Hey everyone:)
I just wanted to leave a note of encouragement for all of the people that may have just taken the NCLEX and aren't feeling too good about the experience, and are frantically searching for a hint of hope and positivity as I was after I took the exam.
My only previous post to allnurses was me desperately looking for some support after I took it February 17th. I literally cried into the next day!!!! I was SURE that I had failed and was trying to think of how in the world I was going to tell my new manager of the RN position that I had accepted that I had failed my boards. It was the longest 48 hours of my life waiting for those results, but somehow by the grace of God I passed!!!
I'm still on cloud 9 and I just wanted to share my experience and tell anyone who just took the exam and is feeling like there's no hope left to STAY POSITIVE!! Please please learn from my experience; you've probably just taken the hardest and most draining test of your life.
Relax, try to clear your mind, and get some sleep! (though that probably seems impossible at this moment) Don't try to analyze the questions or remember how many "higher" or "lower" level questions you think you had or how many questions you had overall. The test is so unpredictable that there really is no way of analyzing your experience.
You are DONE and you did your absolute best that you could do. No matter what happens, you will survive and you will grow from there and learn from the adventure. That's what nurses do, right?! YOU CAN AND WILL DO IT!! Sending all of my luck and positive vibes to the people in the rough 48 hours after the test, you're not alone;)

Congratulations! I wonder if the pop up trick still works! I tried twice well after 24 hours and it won't let me re-register but I have not received any verification of passing or failing yet. I'm losing my mind!! :***:
Update: Nothing is posted and I haven't received a letter or email so I'm chalking it up as a loss. I'll start again next week.
Why are you assuming a loss? NOT being able to register for another exam through PV after 24 hours typically indicates PASS, not fail.
How fast a BoN sends out mailings (snail mail, not emails, btw) and how frequently they update their websites vary greatly. California is particularly slow. What State are you in?
I'm in Pennsylvania.

Call the BON to find out...turnaround may be slow.
