  1. Could you please send it to me as well? [email protected]. Thanks!
  2. Do you mind sending it to me as well? My email is [email protected]. Thank you so much!
  3. I'm just beginning the process. I'm trying to transfer from per diem float nurse to the travel nurse corps. I still have to complete the entire process. I'm just writing out my answers to the screening interview questions.
  4. As long as the report is detailed, I don't feel like there is a need for verbal report. Like you stated, however, most of the time that is not the case. On top of which, in my experience, the nurse gets upset when you call them to ask questions that could have easily been placed in report. It's as if other clicking off boxes, no one wants to type in any necessary information.
  5. I believe I found the job through indeed.com which directed me to usajobs. Hope that helps!
  6. I'm glad. I was worried when no one mentioned allnurses.com. I feel like this will be a great 12 month start my career as a nurse. We've started on our first rotation and so far, so good. I'm actually excited. I'll be more excited once I find an apartment!!! :-)
  7. Just Monday and Tuesday. They didn't mention anything beyond that. I hope everything works out. I feel though that they probably have multiple starting times within the next couple months. As long as they start me with one or two patients, I think it will be fine.
  8. I hope so too. You are right about the extended stay places. They are expensive!! I'm just looking into a hotel or something until I actually get there and can start looking at places. I'll figure something out. Does anybody actually know any details about orientation. I was just told about the two days for new employees.
  9. My drug test was a urine test but they can do it by blood too. When i got my test done, she said the results only take a couple of days to come back, so I would call in a couple of days to recheck. Official start date is the 21st. I haven't found a place yet either so I guess I will be doing the extended hotel stay until I find something. You are so lucky to have someone to stay with!
  10. I finally got my official offer today. It was definitely a long process. I figured they weren't helping with relocation expenses since it is the government so I didn't count on that. I'm coming from PA so it's not that far so I may leave some things here. I have been looking into apartments in and around DC but since I'm not familiar with the area, I don't know how to grade one place against another. I have heard people who work in DC living in MD or VA. Have you been looking?
  11. How are things going now that your physical has been scheduled?
  12. Hopefully we'll both hear something soon.
  13. Yay!!! I'm glad things are moving for you now!!
  14. I certainly hope so. I hope things get worked out for you real soon.
