Well now.... I don't post very often. School keeps me way too busy. I mostly read and try to learn a bit from you all.

Today I had a day from H E L L. and I thought you might get a laugh out of it. so here goes....

I woke up at 6:55 a.m. started some bath water and woke up my 5 and 7yo daughters...as luck would have it, my 5yo had wet her clothes and needed my bathwater. So, 15 minutes later, I get into a lukewarm tub. By 7:30, all 3 of my girls were up, dressed, had eaten, brushed their teeth, and done their hair and i was ready too.

Out the door at 7:40, just 10 minutes later than usual....might actually make it to school on time...Or so I thought, until I saw that my back tire was completely FLAT....

called my husband who had already left for work....he came home and got us, dropped him off, the kids off and went to school...30 minute late!!!!! Pulled into the parking lot and his truck died. GRRRR!!! recranked it, parked and went to class...

Went to my best friend's office to beg her not to drop a class we are taking together....while stepping onto the elevator, reached in my pocket for a butterscotch disc, the ONLY set of KEYS to his truck fell through the crack and all the way DOWWWWNNNNNNNNN the elevator shaft! 2 hours later, maintenance went down and pulled them out for me.

Picked hubby up for lunch, came home, he aired up my tire and we both left. I needed to pick up my 4yo from daycare which is about 15 minutes from home...got to daycare and both of my front tires are smoking..the wheel covers are melting!!!!!

OFF to a shop we go....brakes are locked up...talked to hubby, he made a mistake when he changed my brake pads a few weeks ago.....The brake system will have to be completely redone to the tune of $600.00!

went home and vegged for awhile

hubby comes home....runs over 4yo's bike! she just started riding it really well!

I leave for class in his Bronco..huge jacked up ride.....no problems. Leave class to come home....crank Bronco..put it in gear..IT DIES! 4 TIMES!!! i'm almost in tears at this point! finally get going.....

almost get CREAMED on the highway..i'm so short ...i have a HUGE blindspot when i drive that thing...

made it home. NEXT TIME I WAKE UP LATE AND HAVE A FLAT I'M STAYING HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, that's my day which i can laugh about now. Anyone got a BAD to WORSE story to top that one?

I don't know if my stories could even begin to top yours. When I first read the topic of this post "Possessed Vehicles", I thought of an ambulance that I was assigned to for awhile. The cot would come unlocked all the time and move around in the back of the truck. So we stop and lock it back in and a few minutes later the same thing would happen. I really thought we had a ghost patient on that ambulance who would unlock the cot just to see if he/she could get us. LOL

I hope your car troubles get better.

You have a great sense of humor, Browneyedgirl. It's nice to see that you can have such a sh**ty day and now laugh at it. Hope all your days are better, but if they aren't, I have a feeling you will be abe to deal with it. Keep smiling...poo-poo happens. ;)

And I have an interview at the hospital for ER Admissions tomorrow....WISH ME LUCK PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a wheel, not tire, wheel come off my front driver side twice!

The second time was when I was trying to get to my families home to see my grandfather's body before it was removed by the funeral home..........

Needless to say, I missed him
