Woke up this morning. Psyched up. Ready to rock this exam.

Got to the building 1.5 hours early. walked in 30 minutes early to get ready for the exam. They said I could take it an hour early.

75 questions

20/75 SATA questions.

Stressed out, but last question was SATA and I had a lot of prioritization and delegation questions.

Looked online, tried to re-register.

What! 20 SATA out of 75? I have difficulty of answering SATA questions. Any TIPS and advice for this area? thanks BTW CONGRATULATIONS!

Well Have confidence. The sata will be difficult. HOWEVER, you can rule things out.

I didnt perform so well on SATA in practice, but you need to understand what they are asking.

for example. I wont repeat the question but I will give you a variation.

so process of elimination will always work.

treat it like true/false.

have confidence in you answer. Having alot of doubt will screw you up.

Combine your answers and see if it makes sense.

ex. putting a mask on the patient when you are transporting and wearing a gown(in the room) does not make sense for a type of infection precaution.

Knowing the information is half the battle. the other half is staying calm.

You wont be able to think straight if you panic.

I probably did about 2-3 hours over the 3 days before the exam.

Thank you so much.........I am feeling confident about the exam,But sata makes me nervous. And the thing is,i already failed twice. This is my third time. It makes me more nervous. As you said,i'll practice sata a lot and follow your tips.
