i am simply curious to find out what per cent of registered nurses have obtained a diploma, an associates degree, or a bachelors in nursing.
heck, you don't even have to reply, just vote :)

BS in Business Management
LOL-Would have had a BSN, but after taking 2 years of
pre nursing after the business degree
the Dean of Nursing threw me out of her office
when I told her I wanted to help develop computer
programs for nurses in addition to working in nursing.
This was in 1979 long before laptops, pcs or internet.
My business professors were right! They would roar
with laughter about nurse managers and informatics if they
saw that now.
They couldn't get to square one with the Dean of Nursing
either!!!
My husband and I are both ADN's. My husband is a consultant for VA nursing homes and I am a Regional Hospice Administrator.......I have to say that, although, I will pursue a BSN or some additional degree in the future............an ADN has been quite good to me. Hope all others have been blessed with such luck in their nursing careers!!

I thought about that, and MSN also, but I wanted to keep it simple.
This poll is an extension of conversations that I've had with fellow nursing students. Most want to stop at Associates degree, I and a small handful of others are taking BSN pre-reqs as we go through the ADN program. When I graduate with my ADN, I'll only have a few advanced nursing courses (hopefully just one semester's worth of classes) to complete to obtain my BSN.
Also, I work as a tech at a hospital and most of the RN's have an ADN, so I was just curious as to the education level of other RN's, and I thought that a poll right here at allnurses.com would be interesting.
