Hey everyone, I'm starting this thread for Polk State College Spring 2020 hopefuls. Right now, my total score is 111.15. I'm retaking my TEAS Wednesday (right now my TEAS score is 76) and I'm retaking Algebra summer II for a higher grade. We shall see how it goes...

My friend was number 8 on the alternate list and she got a call 30 min ago asking if she wanted to accept a spot. So they are at least on number 9 now and so forth.

From what my sister said, 5 dropped out during the semester. She believes a total of 16 failed. Not sure how many submitted their intent by the due date last week.

Good luck everyone, hope you all get in!! I didn't get in for fall semester for my first time applying.

I emailed denise today they have gotten to number 14 on the alternate list. She said they don't know if they will be going down the list anymore , but they will be evaluating the list until December 13.

Clinical schedules are posted. I got Sat. Anyone wanna trade. I'll have to miss my daughter's travel ball games this entire semester and my hubby to watch the two year old instead of a day she's in daycare. ??? @WHH

Hi! I am will be starting in January as well. I have had some issues with transfer credit, but I think I resolved everything today. ?

@mooky33870 Where were clinical schedules posted? I actually really want a clinical day on Saturday, so depending on what I have, I may be interested in trading with you.

Hey guys, I graduated from UCF so I’ve never actually had experience with Polk State’s financial aid process. At UCF it would take around a week and a half to get your fin aid refund for books and such, but for nursing school I obviously don’t think I’ll be able to wait that long to get any of the books and want them earlier anyways to get a head start. I was just wondering if anyone knew the main few books we would need in the first 2 or so weeks so I can buy those while waiting for fin aid to come in

@Mooky33870 I’m just now seeing this but I got Monday and I am desperately trying to get Saturday due to work constraints and trying to keep my current job part time. Do you know if they would let us trade???

also I had issues getting my scrubs in time for the orientation Friday and I am in another state currently. Can someone send me the style numbers we are allowed to have? I may have to come Friday without the Polk state seal on mine ?
