Decided to start a thread for Polk State College Fall 2017 nursing hopefuls! I'm hoping we can use this post to share our stats and anxiety during the application process. So, I'll go first. My name is Megan, I have a Bachelors degree from USF. My TEAS score is an 84, overall GPA 3.25, and prerequisite is 3.75. I'm actually retaking the teas to try to get a better score next month. Let you know how that goes. Hoping to hear back from some of you.
You do not have to make an appointment, you can just walk in. There is no application fee, yes!! You can print the application online or you can get one at student services. Here is the page it is on... bottom right corner. Has the option for generic or transition. Good luck! Nursing School Florida - RN to BSN | Polk State College
Awesome, thank you!!
It's official. I took my TEAS this morning. I found it to be quite difficult and I even studied. The math section literally saved my butt. BARELY. A 3.0 overall GPA, 3.7 program GPA, and a score of a 73.3 on the TEAS. I also have my AA degree so I'm looking at around a total of 108.8 points. Planning on turning in my application sometime next week. Do you guys think I have a good chance? I'm so worried.
Also. Did anyone else notice the question on the application where it asked if you were employed by a health care facility? Do you think that has to do with something in the selection process?
