Decided to start a thread for Polk State College Fall 2017 nursing hopefuls! I'm hoping we can use this post to share our stats and anxiety during the application process. So, I'll go first. My name is Megan, I have a Bachelors degree from USF. My TEAS score is an 84, overall GPA 3.25, and prerequisite is 3.75. I'm actually retaking the teas to try to get a better score next month. Let you know how that goes. Hoping to hear back from some of you.

So I'm so worried about Polk State receiving my Teas test scores on time. I'm taking my exam on the 20th electronically so I will be sending the results over as soon as I'm done. How long did it take for your teas test scores to show up on Passport? My transcripts are still in the process of being sent and am getting anxious.

It only took about 4 days for my scores to show up. But I wasn't checking daily so it could have been earlier.

I have a question... to anyone that has received a degree already, where on your transcript does it say you've received a previous degree?

On the transcript- the last line before any classes taken at Polk it says- "Awards" and then lists degree and date it was received. (At least that is where it shows on mine)

I went in today and applied it was a quick process because I already had all of my previous transcripts and stuff sent electronically. But the application said they will be mailing out the letters June 23rd if everything goes to schedule.

When I go drop off my application, do I have to make an appointment or is it walk in?

Can I print the app off the website or is it in person only? And is there a processing fee?
