Polk State College Fall 2017

Decided to start a thread for Polk State College Fall 2017 nursing hopefuls! I'm hoping we can use this post to share our stats and anxiety during the application process. So, I'll go first. My name is Megan, I have a Bachelors degree from USF. My TEAS score is an 84, overall GPA 3.25, and prerequisite is 3.75. I'm actually retaking the teas to try to get a better score next month. Let you know how that goes. Hoping to hear back from some of you.

Where can you go to see if they received teas scores. I took it at Polk State that means I wouldn't have to send them they just automatically go to them right?

If you took the test there, Polk should have received them. When logged into passport, click on records, then View tests & placement. Then click on bottom green button show all tests, and it should be listed under the second block.

Good luck everybody! I applied and was accepted for Spring semester. It was almost two weeks to the day that I got my letter! I had an overall GPA of 3.1, program GPA of 3.3 (around there), an 80 on TEAS, and an AA from HCC. I know I calculated about 112 points or something like that. Not waitlisted at all I was straight accepted. If you look at the Spring 2017 thread it may ease your anxiety. I know it helped mine! Good luck to you all again!

Hello everyone, if you guys can check your passport degree audit. In the General Information Box there is a Program Status and mines says Active, I dont know if that means something but just want to know what everyone else status says. Thank you :inlove:

Mine says active and program admit status N for nursing?? Lol

If we get accepted when is the Mandatory meeting we have to go to?

Mines too lol, how about in the bottom that says graduation status, its says student not admitted in the program. Idk if Im reading too much into it or that was it lol

Mine says the same thing.

I think that if admitted, though, it wouldn't be updated until the seat is accepted. Just a guess though!

Yes I was just going to mention this lol The program status probably means N/A or something ? I was excited for a second :(
