Plano update...I am done with this CPNE thing....

hello all......i just walked in the door from a long drive from plano....i bet y'all are wondering how i did...

i passed......wooooooo hooooooo:yeah::yeah::yeah:

i had no stress whatsoever just went with it took charge of my destiny and blew that thing out the water....passed all pcs's on the first try even got a "you did a great job" from one of the ce's... i had to repeat the wound lab because the examiner found a string hanging over on the skin but re-did yesterday and passed no problems at all....i will write more later..hubby taking me out to eat to celebrate....

y'all know what happened ..i got my renewal for my lvn license due by the end of april...lol i don't have any choice but to renew it cause there is no guarantee i can get my nclex done by the time my license runs out....if i don't have some license i cannot work...more money out of the pocket....i had to borrow against my life insurance to pay for all this ..sad sad sad. so if i drop dead y'all just tell them to throw me in a cardboard box somewherer but make sure they tatoo rn on my a**.....

I had to renew mine in Jan and pay off CPNE for Feb 6th date. Then pay Pearson Vue, TX BON and fingerprints. Worked a ton of overtime and still in debt! It really griped me to renew my license but like you said ... gotta work:)

plano is a great place to test...the evaluators are fair but are not there to be your friend .

one thing i did notice is that when they see that you know your stuff they tend to back off a bit. be confident make sure you have your grid and write everything down on it....oh on labs with some of the calculations i had some very unrealistic figures...like when i was figuring up the iv push i ended up with a 5cc push....i did my figures twice if not 3 times before turning them in to the evaluator...always double check your paper work one blank your done....they let me put n\a in the blanks.... 7 of us tested me and another girl passed..the others acted like they were relying on previous exp alone...not going to work with this... i never was anxious or nervous ..i went in very confident ..do not buddy up with the people ur testing with if they start slipping so will you....stay in the hotel by yourself ....eat by yourself... dont involve yourself with others....i cannot stress this enough. i looked at each pcs like the evaluator was my student and i was teaching them each thing i was assigned ...i verbalized everything ....
