People can and do discuss thier expereicens whether it is good or bad. Many companies get by with references from others and sometimes complaints means they pick up and work where it is needed.

Agencies that offer to lend the money to meet Canadian immigration requirements in my opinion are not doing any favours because the requirements are there for a reason. The immigrant needs to be able to support themselves especially the first 12 months for things like deposits for fuel, electric, housing if renting etc so lending money and taking it back once you get the OK for PR or work permit is wrong

@ Fiona59: :D (that's all i can say hehe)

I have made my complaints to them before. What they did was they even raised their voice at me like I was an irritant to them. There really is no point. Most likely to happen voicing complaints to them is for them to just say they will look on it, try and do something about it, bla bla bla. So far, the only things that changed are their tactics. before, they offered half a million for the settlement fund. Now, it's 1 million. Not that the required amount for one applicant is 1 million.

This site/thread is serving its purpose of giving information to people who needs it. Pinoycare continues to do what they always do. concerned citizens do what they can in here too.

Hi! My purpose of posting those addresses and contact numbers of the said agency is not for FREE advertising or being a moderator. My intention is not help Pinoy Care Visa Center but to help you understand the fact that there is no perfect Canadian Immigration Visa Consultancy. If your application was denied in the first lodging why not discuss it with them instead of arguing with them to figure it out what does the Embassy wants and to avoid mistakes in the second lodging. I'm sure Pinoy Care will cooperate with you or any consultancy firms if your real purpose is to help yourself for your visa application. If you won't cooperate with them, how could they cooperate with you, because I'm very sure that you are not the only applicant of this institution.

Do you know why Pinoy Care is offered 0% interest settlement fund and FREE arrival services?

*It is for the reason that the settlement fund is the no. 1 factor why most Filipinos can't apply for their visa for Canada on their own because they don't have that enough fund in their bank account. Most Filipinos don't have a $11, 086 - $28,337 (depending on how many member do you have) which is equivalent to P 509,956 - 1,303,502. SETTLEMENT FUND IS ONE OF THE MAJOR REQUIREMENTS IN APPLYING AN IMMIGRANT VISA FOR CANADA WITHOUT IT FORGET ABOUT CANADA. You should be thankful for the company who is willing to offer you that amount. Just imagine the risk of depositing that amount in your personal account, and you may run after the money was deposited in your own bank account. If you will be lending money to other lending agencies, aside from paying interest (the cheapest interest that I know is 3.5%) you must have collateral.

*Pinoy Care Visa Center has offered FREE arrival services.

After arriving in Canada, instead of paying board and lodging or renting a house, and paying for your food expenses, there is somebody who will PICK YOU IN THE AIRPORT, THEY WILL LET YOU STAY IN THEIR HOUSE UNTIL YOU WILL FIND A JOB AND UNTIL YOU WILL BECOME ECONOMICALLY ESTABLISH IN CANADA. (minimum stay is until you will received your 3rd salary)

Sorry but I do disagree as the forms are easy to complete and can be done without using an agency and therefore save money. Yes I know how hard it is to save up the required money as I had to do that myself, this is the same for many nationals that wish to make Canada their home. Setting up a new home is not cheap and who knows if nurses will be included in the new list come July but if they are not on the list then what are people going to do as the journey will just get harder

Yes, you may save money to but until when? Until the top 29 categories are not offered anymore??? :hhmth::hhmth::hhmth::hhmth::hhmth:

The scenario here in the Philippines today is that:

*Most of the new Filipino nurses are unemployed.

*How could you help them?

*Even employed Nurses Only receives minimum wages and a number of nurses even receives below minimum wages.

In addition to that, you may say that forms are easy to fill-up, but how could the application be approved if one of the major requirements which is the SETTLEMENT FUND is not provided?

The cap has been reached for RN and there are other ways to apply for Canada like PNP. You are expected to have the settlement money for at least a year, are you telling me the agency is willing to give you that money for that length of time?

Also if you find a employer and have a letter offering employment you do not need settlement funds when applying via the FSW as set out on the CIC website

hi to fellow nurses, im a newbie here and this thread is really helpful and enlightening to me because i am about to sign up to an agency that would promise to help me get a visa to canada....ill keep reading the posts here in the hopes that I will not be misguided as well as my co-workers who are also planning to do make a step in going abroad...

You do not need to use an agency to get a visa for Canada. You can do this process by yourself, all an agency will do is charge you money to fill out papers you can fill out yourself. They cannot make things happen any faster or change the outcome.

and to think that the information which you're paying for to the agency all came from this site

hi everyone, i just want to share my experience with u regarding pinoycare!!! guyz if u have friends, relatives and even strangers who will asked about this agency pls do inform them NOT to trust your future with pinoycare, they are just after your money, I myself attended their seminar last december of 2010, with all those convincing words and promises i fell into their trap, THEY knew that i only have 4 months experience bec i was just newly hired in one of the hospitals here in cebu but said that no need of experience, me and my friends even personally talked to the owner and promised so many things. knowing that she is a known entrepreneur and investor here in cebu w/c means she has a reputation to keep, i trusted her and paid the full amount. Guess what!!! It was all lies!!!! the points system is very important and if u submitted ur requirements w/o qualifying for the points system definitely u will be denied!!! they knew this for sure but didnt fully disclose it with their client!!! until now im still in agony waiting for 2 yrs of experience for me to qualify!!!! it was just a waste of time and money!!! I hate u pinoycare!!!! i really want to sue you for misleading me!!!! I hope one day that the big guy up their in heaven may see how u guyz fool your clients just to get their money!!! the money that u are feeding for ur family all come from fraud!!!! Im sorry but just really frustated for what they did to me!!!!
